This 50 cent coin, or half dollar, features Lady Liberty walking in a long flowing gown with the rising sun behind her. It is made of 90% solid silver and is in a very fine condition. The opposite side of the coin features an eagle with spread wings.

The Maple Leaf collection of coins are all uncirculated. It features a light diffracting pattern formed by the way the master die was machined.

Our only UK entry on the list, this £2 coin is entirely made of silver. Coin collectors will know that £2 coins usually feature a gold band. Britannia herself is depicted on the coin, holding a shield and trident in defence of the British realm. The obverse side naturally features the reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

This delightful Canadian 5 dollar coin is made of 1 ounce of silver. It has a reeded edge and portray a Great Horned Owl in flight on its reverse side. The owl’s wings and outstretched feet show that it is about to catch prey, and was designed by Canadian artist Emily Damstra. The coin forms part of the Bird of Prey series and has Susanna Blunt’s version of Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse side. It weighs 31.39g and is 38mm in diameter.

Not one for arachnophobes, this Australian dollar features an ornate funnel-web spider on its reverse side. It is marked with the Perth Mint’s mark, a letter “P”. The reverse side has artist Ian Rank-Broadley’s picture of Queen Elizabeth II. The dollar is made from 1 ounce .999 silver and this is the entire weight of the coin. It is 4mm thick with a diameter of 40.6mm.

Another uncirculated dollar made of .999 silver, this one featuring an eagle. Lady Liberty walks on the other side of the coin, with the phrase ‘In God We Trust’ and the date ‘2015’. There are rumours that eagle coins are rationed by the US Government, which pushes up their value.

Designed by Augustus Saint-Gardens and Miley Busiek, this coin features a reeded edge and is made from 1 ounce of solid gold bullion. The coin is uncirculated and weighs 3 ounces in total. The obverse side of the coin depicts Lady Liberty with long, loose hair. She has an olive branch in her left hand and a torch in her right. The figure is by artist Augustus Saint-Gauden. The reverse side of the coin shows a male eagle flying over a nest holding a female eagle and her chick. The male eagle holds an olive branch in his talons. The phrase ‘In God We Trust’ is written on the reverse side.
